On the 2nd anniversary of the battle, Amnesty marketing campaign to spotlight the seriousness of the human rights disaster

“Since the beginning of the battle in northern Ethiopia, hundreds of thousands of civilians have been displaced and 1000’s killed. All events have been answerable for grave violations, widespread battle crimes and crimes towards humanity, together with extrajudicial executions and abstract killings of a whole bunch of individuals and sexual violence towards ladies and ladies.

“The international community must show solidarity with the victims and survivors of atrocity crimes in Ethiopia’s two-year conflict. Despite restrictions on access and communication shutdowns, Amnesty has repeatedly documented unspeakable abuses by all parties to the conflict, yet the response of the international community has , including the African Union, has been grim.”
